The Fur Industry

The horror of the Fur Farms

Last week  I saw on Instagram from the official Peta account (@peta) that Gucci has finally banned Fur after so many years of protests !

Earlier this year I read a few articles about Finnish farms and their overweight blue foxes selling to customers such as Gucci, Louis Vitton and Micheal Kors !

I know it is not just those articles that made Gucci take this decision, but it is at least one of the many reasons why they decided to make a change. So if they did (and for them that is not free), anyone can make the same decision ! Compassionate fashion is the future !!!!!

The fur industry is one of the cruelest imaginable.
Each year an estimated one billion animals are bred, raised, and killed on fur farms around the world for their pelts.
In addition to the caged animals, other ones are caught in wild traps and a few ones are even stolen pets, as in China where dog and cat fur is a thing !

To avoid really painful and short lives for minks, foxes, racoons, chinchillas, lynxes, hamsters, dogs, cats, rabbits…and avoid environmental destruction at the same time, please be careful when you buy clothes and accessories !

Fur Factory farms are designed to maximize profits, always at the expense of the animals and we can not accept that !
